High Copper Levels and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Go Hand in Hand

When an individual has the condition called chronic fatigue syndrome, they are experiencing an extreme form of tiredness. It's a form of fatigue that is not eliminated by proper amounts of sleep. A person with chronic fatigue syndrome is constantly tired.

Chronic fatigue syndrome affects millions of people worldwide, and more than a million in the United States alone. The condition is not restricted by a person's age, gender, race or socioeconomic status. However, women get the condition four times as often as men.

In addition, chronic fatigue syndrome affects people in their 40's and 50's most often. The condition is less common in children.

A diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome must occur in a patient in order to confirm that the condition exists. The condition must be present for at least six months and other manifestations must be present as well, such as short term memory loss, sore throat, painful lymph nodes, muscle pain, joint pain and headaches. Candida and chronic fatigue syndrome often co-exist.

Doctors have found that high levels of copper exist in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Small levels of copper in the body are beneficial, and are needed for the body to be healthy. However, when levels of copper in the body pass the normal, healthy limit, toxic levels of copper can occur. With a detoxification program established by your doctor to rid your body of toxic levels of copper, the amount of copper can be controlled and symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome can be lessened or eliminated all together.

Health-Truth.com provides information on chronic fatigue syndrome and on the affects of high levels of copper in the body. The website focuses on many natural alternatives to combat Candida overgrowth and other medical problems.
