Controlling the Overgrowth of Candida with the Candida Diet
A Candida diet involves controlling your intake of Candida-causing foods. The list is quite extensive, but the typical Candida diet involves limiting or eliminating sugar, bread, and beer to begin with. A more intensive Candida diet may involve avoiding any fruit, any product with yeast in it, mushrooms and vinegar.
A good Candida diet may need to be continued for many weeks in order to restore the balance of bacteria in the body. Depending on your situation, your Candida diet may need to be carried out for one week up to several months or possibly longer.
