Nutrition UpdateDecember 1994 Nutrition Update End of year chronicle By Michael Biamonte, C.C.N. Amnesty For All Patients Amnesty: A general pardon and forgiveness for past offenses. In light of the incredible research discoveries I have made on my recent trip, a general amnesty is declared for released patients. Any patient released for failing to comply with their programs is forgiven and hereby given a new chance to resume. Also, all patients previously released or who have been inactive for more than 4 months will be given a 50% discount off consultation fees for their first two re-start visits. Both inactive patients and those who are currently active will benefit from these discoveries made on my research trip. Why Do Patients Relapse? Recent research has shown us that the majority of patients with Candidiasis, Epstein-Barr, etc. who relapse have parasites. This information has circulated around for a bit of time, but has now been confirmed by myself and other researchers. Therefore, we have now made it standard that all Phase II programs have built-in parasite killers. If this applies to you, be sure to come in and get on a revised, updated Phase II program. Take advantage of the amnesty. Recent research has shown that many women with chronic vaginitis who do not improve on standard Candida programs have an error in their "oxalic acid metabolism." Oxalic acid is a substance found in many foods. Grapefruit, spinach, tomatoes, chocolate, rhubarb, and parsley, to name a few. These foods, due to the body's inability to utilize the oxalic acid, may produce similar symptoms to a vaginal yeast infection. In most cases, however, a vaginal discharge is not present. Itching and burning, and painful intercourse are common. It is also possible for someone to have both "oxalic acid vaginitis" while having Candidiasis as well. The solution is to take the proper supplements that help the body to utilize the oxalic acid. This can be determined by a simple urine test done in our office. Call now for an appointment. Hello From England! Edie Tabachnick, our former receptionist, would like all the patients to know that she's alive and well, and is in East Grinstead, England. While doing her special training, she has already found a nutritionist who is interested in coming to New York and doing Michael Biamonte's Nutrition Course. She wishes all of you well, and wants us to remind you to bring a first morning urine sample the day of your appointments. How to Beat the Holiday Blues During the holidays it is very important to stay on your program even if you cheat on your diet. Your program will help you avoid digestive disturbances, fatigue, and weight gain which can occur with the holiday partying. Here are the holiday tips for health:
